An insanely good sauce, perfect on ribs or chicken! Use this as a marinade and a sauce.
• 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
• 1/3 cup soy sauce
• 2 tsp grated ginger
• 6 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 Tbs sesame oil
• 2 tsp Sambal (chili paste found in most supermarkets)
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 8 green onions, sliced, both white and green parts
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan, cook over medium heat just until sugar is dissolved.
