Classic vinegar based Cole Slaw! Easy and delicious, perfect for bbqs and potlucks!
Serves 6 – 8
• 1 1/2 Tbs white sugar
• 2 Tbs brown sugar
• 1 tsp mustard powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
• 1/2 tsp celery seed
• dash of celery salt
• 2 Tbs canola oil or extra virgin olive oil
• 1/4 cup white vinegar
• 1/2 head green cabbage (or a combination of red and green) grated or thinly sliced
• 1 large carrot grated
• 1 small onion grated
• 1/2 of a green bell pepper, chopped
♥ Or use bagged slaw mix from the grocery store
Whisk all of the dressing ingredients in a small bowl.
Place all slaw ingredients in a large bowl, pour in the dressing and toss well.
Let rest in the fridge for at least an hour. All done!
