We've all had London broil that is so tough it should be buried in the backyard! But if it's properly cooked and sliced, it's juicy, tender and sooo delicious! So this is really not a recipe but a technique and it's really very simple, no more tough London broil!
Ingredients
  • 1 London broil
  • kosher salt
  • freshly cracked black pepper
  • garlic powder
Instructions
  1. Place the meat on a rack set on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder on both sides. Now just let it sit at room temperature for 1 hour.
  2. Prepare a bbq grill or start heating a cast iron skillet on high heat. If using a grill make sure the grate is oiled and if using a skillet, drizzle in a little canola oil or butter. Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes on the first side, flip it over and cook for 4-5 minutes on the side and you're all done! Let it rest for 15 minutes, then slice across the grain at a slight angle into thin slices. Enjoy!
