Absolutely mouth-watering! Thick, bone-in pork chops, marinated and grilled to perfection! The bourbon glaze and marinade is spectacular!
Ingredients:
Serves 2
Marinade and sauce:
- 3 Tbs of soy sauce
- 1/3 cup of Bourbon
- 3 Tbs of brown sugar
- 1 tsp of Dijon mustard
- 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 2 thick-cut, bone-in pork chops
Directions:
Combine all of the marinade and sauce ingredients, place the chops in a large ziplock bag and pour in the marinade.
Let marinate for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours, whatever you have time for. Remove the chops from the marinade, pat dry and let come to room temperature before grilling. Place the marinade in a small saucepan, bring to a boil, cook for a few minutes, then turn off the heat. This is your sauce for the finished chops.
Prepare your grill, place the chops over the hottest part of the grill.Grill on the first side for 3 minutes, flip over and grill 3 more minutes. Move to the cooler side of the grill, put the lid on and cook for about 5-7 more minutes.Remove from the grill, let rest for 10 minutes, then drizzle over that heavenly sauce!
