Steak salad with homemade tomato vinaigrette is one of my very favorite salads! Think about warm, juicy, grilled sirloin, grilled shallots, homemade croutons and the best tomato dressing you've ever had! The good news is, it's so easy to make, just cook the shallots and tomatoes, throw everything in a blender and voila! Then just grill your steak and shallots and arrange all on a bed of fresh spinach or lettuce, the flavor, color and texture of this salad is just phenomenal!

Notes
This tomato vinaigrette is also amazing on omelets and sandwiches!
