Oh sweet peaches! Yet another baked delight from our favorite summer fruit! Make this simple peach quick bread when peaches are ripe and juicy! So easy to make, no mixer involved. This bread is moist and packed with peaches and then to turn up the volume, make a simple praline topping to spread on top! Doesn't it sound too good!!!

Ingredients
- 2 eggs, room temperature
- ½ cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of sugar
- ½ cup of sour cream
- 2 tsp of vanilla
- 3 medium peaches, peeled and diced
- 1½ cups of flour
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- ½ tsp of salt
- dash of nutmeg and cinnamon or to taste and optional
Praline Topping
- 2 Tbs of butter
- ½ cup of chopped pecans
- 1 - 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Here we go! Grease your loaf pan ( 9 X 5) and preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Add the eggs and oil to a medium bowl and whisk, add in the sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and peaches, stir until combined.
- In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon, then stir into the peach mixture, stir until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50 - 55 minutes or until a skewer or toothpick comes out clean. Let cool then turn out onto a plate.
- For the topping, add the butter and pecans to a small saucepan over medium heat and cook until the butter melts, then stir in the condensed milk. Remove from the heat and let it cool down, then spread over your luscious, cooled bread! Enjoy!
