This recipe for pork tenderloin with Tzatziki sauce (cucumber sauce) is simply amazing, not only is it insanely delicious, it's versatile, you can serve it just as I've pictured, perfectly grilled and topped with Tzatziki sauce or wrapped in a warm tortilla or in fresh lettuce leaves with red pepper strips and a few spinach leaves. However you serve it, it's incredible! Very easy to whip up, just make the sauce first and let it rest in the fridge while you grill the pork. See my notes to decide what cut of pork to use, I used pork tenderloin tips in this recipe. I know you'll love this one!

Recipe type: Pork
Serves: 4
Ingredients
Tzatziki Sauce:
- 1 Tbs of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbs of red wine vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp of kosher salt
- ¼ tsp of black pepper
- 2 cups of plain Greek yogurt
- 2 Tbs of fresh dill, chopped
- 2 cucumbers, peeled, seeded and coarsely grated
Pork
- 1 to 1¼ lbs of pork tenderloin
- 1 tsp of olive oil
- ½ tsp of kosher salt
- ¼ tsp of freshly ground black pepper
- ¼ tsp of dried oregano
- ¼ of granulated garlic
Instructions
- Remove the pork from the fridge and let it come to room temperature. Now, make the sauce, combine all ingredients except the cucumber in a medium bowl. Stir well, then add in the cucumber and stir again, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors get acquainted.
- Now rub the pork with olive oil and sprinkle on the salt, pepper, dried oregano, and granulated garlic. Set up your grill for direct and indirect heat, so coals all on one side. Grill the pork over direct heat for about 4 - 5 minutes per side, with the lid on, then move to the cooler side and cook for another 5 - 6 minutes, depending on your cut of pork. Check with a thermometer if in doubt, the internal temperature for pork should be 145° F.
- Remove the pork from the grill and let rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Spoon on the Tzatziki sauce and serve more on the side, enjoy!
Notes
You can use a whole pork tenderloin or cut it into medallions before grilling, You can also use pork tenderloin tips which is something I've been seeing more of in the grocery stores. Just make sure the temperature is 145 degrees.
