What is better than a 3 ingredient dessert that everyone loves?! Even better, one that starts with a cake mix! Kids love these gooey butter type "brownies" made with a strawberry cake mix, oil and eggs, no butter! Mix, bake and then add a simple glaze. I serve them with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream or yogurt, delish!

Ingredients
Cake
- 1 strawberry cake mix
- 2 room temperature egg yolks
- ⅓ cup of vegetable or canola oil
Glaze
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 Tbs of milk or water
Instructions
- Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Then line an 8" baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a few extra inches on the ends to use as handles, spray with oil.
- Using a standing mixer or hand mixer, combine the cake mix, eggs and oil until well combined.
- The batter will be very thick, spread it into the prepared dish all the way to the edges, using a butter knife.
- Bake for 15 - 18 minutes, or just until they appear to be set.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for 15 minutes, then lift them out of the dish using the "handles".
- While they are cooling, stir together the powdered sugar and milk, you want to have a fairly thin glaze. Spoon the glaze over the brownies to completely cover them.
- Cool them completely and and let the glaze set up before cutting into squares. That's it! Enjoy!
