Treakle is very similar to molasses. You may have heard of the famous, British "Treacle Tart", it's Harry Potter's favorite! So, this recipe is for a simple, insanely delicious, treacle glaze for steaks, it's combined with fresh thyme, minced garlic, Worcestershire and a little oil. Perfectly grilled steaks with a crusty glaze that is both sweet and savory, out of this world! This recipe makes enough glaze for 4 steaks. If you can't find treacle, an unsulfured molasses would be a good substitute.
